Fire at Sanmina-SCI in San Jose (USA)
A small fire at the Sanmina-SCI manufacturing facility in San Jose (USA) was reported yesterday.
Local media stated that the fire broke out just before 5 a.m. local time at the facility. Apparently the fire started in an attic area, above the sprinkler system. Others state that the fire was accidentally started by technicians.
The fire was under control after 90 minutes and no injuries were reported.
Sanmina-SCI is using the facility for its PCB assembly operations. No reports of damages or any disruption of the production were made.
