Scanfil with layoffs in Finland
Finland-based EMS-provider Scanfil EMS—the manufacturing subsidiary of the Scanfil Group—has started employer-employee negotiations at their manufacturing location in Vantaa, Finland.
The possible lay-offs will affect at the most 30 persons and for maximum of 90 days. The negotiations and possible layoffs will concern all personnel groups at the Vantaa manufacturing facility. The reason for negotiations is temporary decrease in the demand of the Vantaa facility. The negotiation proposal has already been given to personnel groups during this week.
The EMS-provider currently employs around 150 staff in Vantaa.
