Avnet sign new contracts for UK and Romania
Avnet has announced three new contracts recently with EMC Corporation, Sourcefire and Kontron.
Avnet Technology Solutions has expanded its distribution agreement with EMC Corporation, ta specialist in information infrastructure solutions, to include the Romanian market. Under the agreement, Avnet will now provide EMC's comprehensive portfolio of storage offerings to reseller partners in Romania. Avnet Technology Solutions also supports EMC in Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, and UK.
Avnet Technology Solutions also expands its networking and security portfolio to include Sourcefire’s highly-integrated network security technologies for value-added resellers in the United Kingdom.
Avnet Embedded's franchise agreement with embedded specialist Kontron, has been further extended to include the United Kingdom. Kontron's portfolio is already represented by Avnet Embedded in France and the Nordic regions through longstanding relationships with Axess Technology and Trident, both Avnet Embedded businesses. An agreement covering Italy was recently announced. The franchise agreement with Kontron is also covered globally including America through Avnet Electronics Marketing.
