Foxconn to focus on fully automation with new plant
EMS giant Foxconn Electronics plans to establish a brand new plant in Taiwan which requires low number of staff.
According to Foxconn chairman Terry Guo, a fully-automated production plant will be established in Taiwan, DigiTimes reported. The plant will only require technicians to maintain the equipment to run an efficient production. This is the first plant of its kind and if it the idea turns out to be successful, Foxconn plans to transfer the concept to other locations.
