CSR opens design<br> centre in Sophia Antipolis
Bluetooth specialist CSR has opened a hardware design centre in Sophia Antipolis in France.
The new French team will work with ultra-wide band(UWB) radios Stéphane Boudaud will be the head of the office.
"We have been planning and working on a very high speed version of Bluetooth for some time now, and the recent announcement by the Bluetooth SIG that UWB will be added as a higher speed option is very welcome and fits perfectly with the investment we are making in Sophia Antipolis," said James Collier, technical director and co-founder of CSR to Electronics News.
"Sophia Antipolis is the ideal location for CSR given its concentration of advanced technology companies which attract a highly skilled workforce," said Boudaud.
