Sanmina to invest in Ireland

The EMS-provider Sanmina -SCI plans a substantial investment in Fermoy, Ireland.
US-based EMS-provider Sanmina-SCI plans to invest around €10 million in its operations in Fermoy, Ireland. The investment is primarily for the expansion of its R&D services to include higher value activities. The Fermoy operations are focused on the production for the Medical sector. It is also one of the largest medical operations within the EMS-provider’s business.

This investment is also said to create a few more jobs - no number was specified - at Fermoy, local media reports.
