Ever wondered which chip manufacturer is supplying companies such as Research in Motion, Palm and Apple. Here are some answers.
According to an article in the Globe & Mail, Marvell Technologies supplies connectivity chips to Research in Motion, while Texas Instruments makes the Palm Pre's processor. Apple - and moreover its smart phone giant iPhone - is being supplied by Qualcomm and Samsung.
