ASML and STMicro in cooperation
The Netherland based ASML, and its subsidiary Brion Technologies, initiates a broad-scoped joint development project with STMicroelectronics.
The project is named SOLID (Silicon printing Optimization with Lithography control and Integrated Design). The project is set to accelerate 28-nm node deployment and 22-nm node development.
