Orpro Vision has appointed Sweden based Scanditron as distributor.
The company will distribute Orpro Vision’s AOI systems and software in Sweden, Denmark, Poland and Norway.
The CEO at Orpro Vision, Roberto Gatti, commented: "This is a strategically important step for expanding our presence in Europe. With its long experience and a vision for future developments, Scanditron represents a professional partner for us and for our customers."
Anders Lind, President of Scanditron, declared: " We are very proud and happy to distribute Orpro Vision’s equipment. For more than 15 years Scanditron has provided the Scandinavian market with systems and software from Orbotech, now Orpro Vision, and the majority of big OEMs and EMS providers use Orpro Vision AOI solutions. The key to success was that Scanditron understood very early the need for application support in combination with good equipment and software.
