Teknoflex buys cleaning machine
UK-based has purchased a Crest Sensotronic AVD500 cleaning machine as part of its ongoing capital investment and process improvement programme.
This equipment further enhances the quality service offered by Teknoflex, the only UK dedicated Flexible Circuit manufacturer with AS9100 accreditation. The Crest machine provides a more robust and controlled ultrasonic cleaning capability for both "surface mount" and "through hole" flexible circuit assemblies whilst reducing the environmental impact. The touch screen control panel has real time, data collection facilities which improves process control, process stability and product quality.
This policy of continual process improvement, whilst reducing cost and contamination aligns with the expectations of the company’s "blue chip" customer base. Acquisition of this new ultrasonic cleaning machine demonstrates the commitment of Teknoflex to further extend and improve its fully integrated circuit manufacture and component assembly capabilities for the benefit of its ever increasing and wide ranging international customers.
