Sanmina-SCI to cut workers in Sweden

EMS provider Sanmina-SCI is scaling down its plant in Örnsköldsvik Sweden.

Sanmina-SCI will lay off approximately 70 temporary workers at the plant, according to allehanda. Sanmina-SCI’s customers is currently delaying new product introductions until the economical situation improves, forcing Sanmina-SCI to take this action. Sanmina-SCI has approximately 230 permanent employees and 70 temporary workers.
