Sony phase out CRT TV’s

Electronics manufacturer Sony will phase out cathode ray tube (CRT TVs) production.
The company plans to focus more on production of LCD TV in India instead - as the new range of Bravia TV’s was launched today. Sony has already stopped the production of the CRT TVs in India. In the fiscal year 2008-2009, Sony LCD sales in India were 21%, while in the current fiscal year the company is expected to increase sales figures to 57%, reported business-standard.
