TRI to expand inspection business, after Agilent withdraw
Taiwan-based equipment maker TRI is to expand its inspection equipment business, after Agilent announced its withdrawal.
TRI reportedly started volume shipments of AOI or AXI systems to handset makers and EMS vendors in the 3Q/2008, reports DigiTimes. Agilent has announced earlier this year, that it would exit the electronics inspection systems business by the end of March.
