Nokia to increase chip orders in March
Nokia has told chip suppliers that the company will increase chip orders by March this year. The increase is mainly affecting the new mobile phone models and will be made in the second quarter of 2009.
According to an unnamed market source of Digitimes, Nokia is expected to launch several 3G and 3.5G products. This in turn will benefit companies such as Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and Synaptics.
