TechniSat invests in R&D in Dresden, Germany
TechniSat expands its main development site in Dresden massively and makes major investments to increase development capacity.
The Dresden research & development centre was established in 1990, employing 23 developers. Now, about 200 engineers are employed here. Through the expansion TechniSat will create an additional 100 jobs for developers and engineers.
In August 2006, TechniSat established another development site in England in Milton Keynes.
TechniSat operated additional production sites in Dippach (Thuringia), in Schöneck (Saxony), in Staßfurt/Magdeburg (Saxony-Anhalt) and in Oborniki Slaskie (Poland). Headquarters, as well as the logistics and service centre are located in Daun / Vulkaneifel.
