100 jobs to go at ABB in Sweden

During recent weeks, approximately 100 jobs were lost at ABB's facility in Västerås, Sweden.
These measures affected mainly temporary staff. Lay offs have been made in the divisions Cewe-Control and Robotics. The company hired staff from the HR services agency Adecco. The arrangement means that no negotiations with workers unions are necessary. ABB would not confirm this information.
