Foxconn important client for Schneider Electric in Czech Republic

France based electrical devices maker Schneider Electric has increased sales in the Czech Republic by 7% in H1/08. The Czech branch specifically was able to increase its turnover and profit thanks to orders aimed at energy saving and the automation of buildings. The french OEM company operates a production plant in Pisek, Southern Bohemia - with more than 800 staff also one of the biggest manufacturing locations of the group . Most of the manufacturing output is produced for export. In 2007, the company transferred part of its pressure switch production Arenzano, Italy and Agriers, France, to Pisek.
