IPTE reports a slight decline in sales for Q2/08

Sales of €123.2 million in H1/08 are down 4% compared to H1/07 with €128.6 million. The operating profit for H1/08 was €3,568,000 compared to €5,549,000 for the same period in 2007 and the net profit reached €2,058,000 compared to €4,074,000 for the first 6 months of 2007. At the end of Q2/08, the order book stood at €93.2 million, compared to €87 million by the end of Q1/08. Second quarter sales of the Automation division rose from €14.5 million in 2007 to 15.7 million (including Platzgummer sales of €2.5 million). The order book rose from €25.4 million at the end of Q1/08 to €30.5 million at the end of Q2/08. Sales of the Contract Manufacturing division fell from €51.8 million in Q2/07 to €42.3 million in Q2/08. The division’s order book rose to €62.6 million compared to €61.5 million at the end of Q1/08.
