Foxconn invests in ex-Motorola employees

The EMS-provider Foxconn has hired ex-Motorola employees to help establish its design operations in the USA.
The company hired software, electrical and mechanical engineers and designers for its newly opened design centre in Florida. Julio Abdala, one of the former Motorola employees and now vice president of engineering, said the design centre will design and develop cell phones, particularly smart phones.
