Iskra opens plant in Macedonia

The Slovenia-based company Iskra plans to build a new manufacturing facility in Skopje, Macedonia.
Iskra is to establish a factory in the Technological Industrial Development Zone “Skopje”, near Macedonia's capital Skopje, reports investinmacedonia. The facility is said to employ around 500 staff and is said to start production in September 2009.

“The difference between Macedonia and other countries in the region is the fact that you have a Government that wishes to do something. We have excellent experience with the current administration, which has done a great job. I believe that in this respect many powerful countries may learn from you”, Dusan Sesok, General Director of the Slovene company 'Iskra' told investinmacedonia.
