Videocon eyes Motorola mobile unit
India based consumer electronics manufacturer Videocon is interesting in purchasing Motorola’s mobile phone unit.
According to Indian magazine Business Standard, discussions are in early stage. Videocon’s intention is to start producing mobile phones in a factory in Kashipur, India.
Motorolas’ market cap of the global mobile phone market is currently 15 %. Analysts predicts the value of Motorolas’ mobile phone unit to 3,8 billion US Dollar.
