Dell to outsource more EMS works

US computer maker Dell has decided to close down its plant in Texas in April this year.
The company said it will outsource more manufacturing to EMS providers in low-cost regions. However this depends on a broader $3 billion cost-reduction plan. Mike Cannon, Dell’s president global operations, said during at a meeting with analysts that Dell is planning to partner more.
