Sony to double production in Slovakia
Sony plans to double its LCD production volume at their Nitra plant in Slovakia.
The year’s production is said to reach 4 million LCD TV units. The General Director of the Sony Slovakia Technology Center, Hajime Ushida, told journalists at a press conference that this production increase will also result in an increase in employees. The company has currently 2500 employees. This number is said to be increased to 3500.
