Avnet new distribution partner of FCI

Under the terms of the agreement, Avnet will distribute FCI's full product line to customers throughout the more than 70 countries where Avnet does business — in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and Japan. This broad agreement supersedes an earlier, more circumscribed distribution pact between the two companies. 'We view this agreement as an enhancement to the working relationship between FCI and Avnet,' said Lou Lipomi, vice president of global distributor account management for FCI. 'Our commitment is to provide design services and supply chain solutions to our customers, regardless of their global footprint.' FCI has 34 manufacturing sites across the globe where it designs and manufactures connector solutions targeting market applications for telecommunications infrastructures, consumer electronics, data storage, energy, power and utility, industrial, instrumentation and medical.
