Diodes bought Zetex
The UK-based chip maker Zetec has been acquired by Diodes for approximately £91.6 million.
"We have made good progress executing our strategies but more still needs to be done," said Zetex CEO Hans Rohrer. "The combined group will be over four times the current size of Zetex and will have far greater resources at its disposal with which to accelerate the execution of those strategies."
The transaction is subject to the approval of Zetex shareholders and will be completed in June 2008.
