Nova Measuring cuts staff by 20

Israel based Semiconductor firm Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd. is laying off approximately 20 employees.

Almost all Nova's sales are in U.S. dollars, while much of its costs, including salaries, are incurred in New Israeli Shekels. Because of the weak US Dollar, Nova is forced to do this action. Another reason is the weakness in the equipment sector. Half of the job cuts will be made in Israel.
