evertiq reported on Tuesday that EMS provider Elcoteq has sold it plant in Russia to Flextronics. According to latest reports Flextronics purchased the Elcoteq plant for somewhere in between $ 25-35 million,Vedomost reports. These figures have not been confirmed by any of the companies involved in the transaction.
The closing takes place when the conditions procedures including the competition authorities' approvals have been fulfilled. This is estimated to take approximately 60 days.
