Toppoly denies Philips investment
Toppoly Optoelectronics, a Taiwan-based LTPS TFT LCD producer, denies rumours telling that Philips would invest in the company, DigiTimes report.
Philips will not invest NT$5 billion in Toppoly Optoelectronics. Toppoly recently raised NT$5 billion in capital and is not seeking any more investments. Toppoly is cooperating with Philips to develop LTPS mobile-use panels and a-Si TFT LCD products, DigiTimes reports.
