Foxconn & Pegatron kicks off Playstation 4 Pro production

The new Sony console is set to be launched in November – and at the same time Foxconn has also undertaken trial production of rival Nintendo’s new system called NX, according to DigiTimes citing industry sources. The two manufacturing giants used to equally share the production of Sony’s PS consoles. However, this year Pegatron is accounting for 70% of the production. The companies will gradually increase shipments of PS 4 Pro consoles in October and November in order to meet the anticipated demand, the report continues.
