ROHM: getting back to normal

The production of diodes and LEDs at ROHM-Wako Electronics's Malaysian facility Padang Tembak is not affected by current weather conditions.

"The water level in the Kelantan River in Kota Bharu where the production site located rose and some areas in Kota Bharu are continuously flooded. There are no effects on supply to our customers including logistics since operation continues as usual. ROHM Group will continue to make effort to take appropriate measures depending on the situation by collecting information such as monitoring water level of the river", a press notice states. Update from January 5, 2015: Current status: The water level in the Kelantan River in Kota Bharu where the production site located fell below warning water level and remain low. The impact of flooding in the area around the site has nearly disappeared and attendance of employees returned to normal. ROHM Group continues to collect information of local circumstances and make an effort to strengthen BCM activities.
